Das Piano Adventures: Theory Book - Level 2B ist unterteilt in Lektionen, die zu den Lektionen im Lesson Book passen. Jede neue Lektion wiederholt und vertieft zunächst zuvor eingeführte Konzepte und schult die grundlegenden theoretischen Konzepte durch Schreiben, Notenlesen vom Blatt und Gehörübungen - alles in einem jugendgerechten Stil. Level 3A führt die Intervalle Septime und Oktave ein, den 3/8- und 6/8-Takt, Triolen, chromatische Skalen, die D-Dur-Skale, 1-oktavige Arpeggios. Die ausgewählten Spielstücke erkunden die komplette Vielfalt der Tastatur mit einer dynamischen Breite von Pianissimo bis Fortissimo.
Piano Adventures: Theory Book - Level 2B is divided into units, which correlate with those in the Lesson Book. Each unit reinforces basic theory concepts through writing, sight-reading, and ear-training activities - all within a youthful context. Although the theory book is designed to be used in conjunction with the other books in the Piano Adventures series, teachers will find that the creative, effective approach of this book will enhance instruction with many other piano methods as well.
Level 3A introduces the interval of a 7th, the octave, 3/8 and 6/8 time, the triplet, ledger lines, the chromatic scale, the D major scale, one-octave arpeggios. The pieces explore the full range of the keyboard with a dynamic range of pianissimo to fortissimo.
