Synopsis

We all have that one toy we loved as a child. Mine was a doll called a Munchichi. I took her everywhere. I loved her nose off...and then I lost her when my family moved to a new house. I get requests all the time to repair a beloved stuff animal or doll so that the child of the child who loved that doll to death, can love it again. What is it that makes such a powerful bond between a child and a beloved toy? How much more powerful would it be if you made with your own hands that beloved toy?

This book contains patterns and directions to create a world of imagination. Each toy is made with an easy to create posable skeleton. All the patterns are full sized--no need to enlarge. Projects in this book include: a dragon, a gryphon, a faerie or elf, a knight and his tower, a gnome, and a fawn with tips and tricks included throughout, as well as lots of illustrations and photographs to help you through the process. A recommended suppliers list and a list of video tutorials and other resources is also included.
