A propos du livre

Revue de presse

Powerfully creepy (Publishers Weekly)

Marked is a gripping and tantalisingly sexy read. I loved the strong-willed psychic protagonist Lucky, as well as the courtly intrigue, terrifying supernatural assassins, and thought-provokingly buff daemon bodyguards. Team Jinx (Holdfast Magazine)

Great fun and a delight to read (Upcoming4.me)

A beautifully written well flowing Urban fantasy/fantasy with a terrific story and some really really great characters . . . Mr Kerfuffle and Mr Shenanigans (ha ha brilliant) are simply the best duo I've seen in fantasy fiction for a while. (Liz Loves Books)

Marked is instantly absorbing . . . will certainly leave a lasting impression. (SciFi Now)

Good for fans of Laini Taylor . . . and Deborah Harkness, Marked is magical and other worldly without losing the feeling of wonder that comes with having human narration and worries in a world that doesn't make sense any more. (Catriona M, Waterstones)

I loved this book. The characters, the atmosphere, the humour, the romance, it all worked. Marked is a wonderful debut for Tingey (A Fantastical Librarian)

Any Neil Gaiman fan should feel right at home with the style of this book, as it's smartly and compellingly written with some confident prose. 8/10. (The Fictional Hangout)

This is the kind of story that sucks readers in very quickly and you end up completely losing track of time while you're reading . . . Marked is a fantastic start to this new series (Feeling Fictional)

I was enthralled. A strong and interesting debut (Draumr Kopa Blog)

Présentation de l'éditeur

Team Jamie or Team Jinx? Which handsome hunk will Lucky choose - once she's dealt with the demon assassin on her trail, that is?

Lucky's always known about her own psychic powers - after all, her closest friend is a ghost - but she knows nothing of her long-dead family . . . until a daemonic assassin brings a message that drags both Kayla and Lucky down to the Underlands - and into the political fight for the daemon king's throne.

Lucky's determined to find her way home, but Jinx and Jamie have both marked her - and now she's not sure she even wants to escape the loving attentions of her handsome winged Guardian and her devilishly charming horned Deathbringer.

And if she stays, she might just find out who she really is . . .

'Reads like the Sookie Stackhouse series combined with the sinister undertones of Neil Gaiman's Neverwhere' says Booklist.
