Bon Appetit named World Street Kitchen one of the "50 Best New Restaurants in America 2013" and Thrillist.com named it one of the "33 Best New Restaurants in America 2013." Sameh was a semifinalist for the James Beard Foundation "Best Chef" and "Rising Star" awards. He lives in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
