Synopsis

My aim is to illustrate and demonstrate the validity of its title: God Is Good All the Time (in spite of the bad days!). We must learn to trust in the Lord completely in everything that happens to us and for everything we need. I have selected several anecdotes from my life experiences that, in my opinion can only be fully explained as supernatural acts of God’s grace. Through this book I wish to encourage other Christians.

Kenneth L. Barker (BA, University of Northwestern – St. Paul; ThM, Dallas Theological Seminary; PhD, Dropsie College for Hebrew and Cognate Learning) is an author and speaker living in Lewisville, Texas. Until his retirement from International Bible Society (now Biblica) in 1996, he was executive director of their NIV Translation Center and served as one of the original translators of the NIV Bible. He served as academic dean of Capital Bible Seminary, professor of Old Testament at three theological seminaries, including Dallas Theological Seminary, and visiting professor at two others. He authored commentaries on Micah and Zechariah and was co-editor of the Expositor’s Bible Commentary (abridged edition). Most recently he helped produce the 2011 editions of the NIV and the NIV Study Bible as its general editor.
