Do you feel stuck in patterns of pain, anger, anxiety, or shame—and wonder why you can’t break free?
It’s not a lack of faith. It’s unresolved trauma.
In Break EVERY Stinking Chain!, Christian counselor and trauma expert Dr. Denice Colson offers a powerful, biblically grounded roadmap to healing from the hidden wounds of your past. Drawing on over three decades of counseling experience, Colson introduces the Strategic Trauma and Abuse Recovery System (12STR®), a proven 12-stage model that integrates faith, psychology, and emotional recovery.
Through relatable stories, scriptural truth, and practical tools, you’ll learn how trauma affects your brain, your identity, and your spiritual life—and how God can heal it all from the inside out.
You’ll discover how to:
- Identify the hidden roots of emotional and relational struggles
- Confront and grieve past wounds in a safe, structured way
- Replace toxic beliefs with biblical truth
- Reconnect with your authentic self, others, and God
- Break cycles of survival behavior and live in freedom
Whether you’re a survivor, a counselor, or someone seeking wholeness in Christ, this book will guide you step-by-step toward lasting transformation.
Pair this book with the Break EVERY Stinking Chain! Workbook—sold separately—for journaling prompts, recovery exercises, and group discussion tools that deepen the healing process.
You don’t have to stay chained to your past.
Jesus came to set the captives free—and that includes you.
