He is having a hard time distinguishing between dreams and memories, and illusions and realities. There was that memory of when he buried his true love... but also one holding the breathless possibility that Jason is still in Vietnam - ALIVE - fighting the war. He's not sure what to believe anymore, but he sure as hell won'tpass up any opportunity to find out the truth. And the other guys throwing themselves at him along the way? That’s just a bonus!
