Synopsis

A fire ball destroyed St. Louis, a plane crashed and an odyssey began—almost 670 years ago. Now unholy alliances are set to reshape the world to their view of evil perfection. Corrupt politicians, Neo-Nazis, Aliens, the returned Atlanteans or those thought to be dead for centuries; who is about to finally bring down the human race?

Michael thought he could bring about a better future when he became the President of the United States. So far his job has brought the Rourkes nothing but grief. Paul steps into the role of protector for his loved ones but wonders if he's doing enough. Is he doing what his mentor, John Thomas Rourke, would do? Is this quest, one that could mean life if he succeeds or death for his family if he doesn't, he be the last?

Has John Thomas Rourke finally been located? If so, can he be rescued in time? A new team, a posse, is formed, known to only a select few. Their goal is simple—SAVE MANKIND!

A propos du livre

À propos de l'auteur

Jerry Ahern (Axel Kilgore) is a science fiction and action author best known for his post-apocalyptic survivalist series The Survivalist. These pulp novels have sold more than 3.5 million copies worldwide. He also authored the gut-wrenching, action-packed series, They Call Me the Mercenary under the pseudonym Axel Kilgore. Originally born in Chicago a long time ago, Sharon Ahern met her future husband and co-writer, Jerry Ahern, on the very first day of High School, and they became friends for life. They eventually married and had two wonderful kids, Jason and Samantha, and five beautiful grandchildren. Sharon began her writing career in the public relations department of Illinois Bell Telephone and stringing for a local newspaper. Always an avid researcher—Sharon was always eager to do book reports and term papers—she was happy to pull out the Britannica and become an instant expert on whatever information Jerry needed for a story, whether a particular time in history or facts concerning a far away place. Now the musty volumes have been replaced with the internet. She has interviewed people on a wide range of topics such as Voodoo practices and biker gangs. Sharon is also a professional photographer, her works having been published in magazines throughout the world. Bob Anderson is the author of Sarge, What Now? and co-author on The Survivalist series (starting with Book #30) in collaboration with Jerry and Sharon Ahern. Bob is a fine writer and has published books such as TAC Leader: What Honor Requires, Anderson's Rules and Grandfather Speaks. He is an expert on weaponry and military skills and is an accomplished public speaker. Bob retired as a Chief Master Sergeant from the United States Air Force Reserve with over 32 years of service.
