Synopsis
Born to a Wall Street banker father and an alcoholic socialite mother a young boy, feeling ignored, unwanted and unloved manages to survive using his imagination and talents. He rebels against the poor parenting that includes sending their son to a psychiatrist who recommends a school for problem youth. Finding his own way in spite of the school rules, the boy grows into manhood, finds a comfortable love and reaches a remarkable pinnacle of success. This vividly written fictional tale illustrates not only how not to be a parent, but also when faced with such a problem there are myriad solutions toward survival.
