This book is dedicated to all the families of the world but especially to those who cannot indulge themselves in a family vacation due to reasons financial, social or political. I came from such a family but never missed not having a family vacation. We must all realize that the ability to go on a family vacation is not a right but a privilege that not all families of the world can enjoy and share in. We often complain, worry and regret the many things that we have done or not done in our lives without thinking of the opportunities and resources that we have been granted nor the resources that we have been endowed with. Generally, our circumstances are not due to our own merit by controlled by circumstances beyond our control. We may have taken advantage of our situations ( for better or worse) but we did not create them. We do sometimes have the chance and power to improve another situation and make anthers life a little better and this is how we repay our own good fortune and grace.
