Willard L. Boyd III is a shareholder with the Des Moines law firm of Nyemaster Goode, P.C., where he practices in the firm's business, corporate, and banking department. Bill's practice involves the representation of various types of business organizations, including nonprofit organizations, health care organizations and financial services organizations. He is a past chair of the Nonprofit Organizations Committee and the State and Local Bar Relations Committee of the ABA Business Law Section. Bill also is active in the Iowa State Bar Association and chaired the committee that drafted Iowa's current nonprofit corporation statute. Bill is the co-editor of Guidebook for Directors of Nonprofit Corporations (ABA 2012). He is the editor of Nonprofit Law: A Practical Guide to Legal Issues to Nonprofit Organizations (ABA 2017). He received his B.A. from the University of Michigan and his J.D. from the University of Iowa College of Law.
