Synopsis
Terrorists continue to assail Europe in the mid 21st century. While their causes vary, opposition to the programming of the human genome is the focus of one fanatical group, the Alliance to Control Genetic Transgressions (ACGT). The group's leader is a secretive malevolent woman known as Alisa. In a devastating attack, the ACGT destroys the Channel Tunnel connecting England and France, with the loss of thousands of lives. Standing in the way of the terrorists is the chief detective of the European Union Internal Security Police, Special Investigative Group (SIG) head Henri Rolle and geneticist Cathy Fox, who has a mysterious connection to the female terrorist. Rolle and Fox must act before Alisa is able to attack her next target, the meeting of the world's leading geneticists.
