About the Author: Akhilesh Munjal, a Postgraduate in Commerce, has over 42 years of vast and varied experience working in EXIM and related activities. Out of this nearly 26 years have been with shipping, freight forwarding, and related activities.

The last post held while in active service was as Regional Manager (North India) with a leading group in India, in shipping and related activities namely, Liner Agency, Freight Forwarding, Container Leasing, Container Trading and Container Depots.

Currently working as an Independent Consultant since December 2015 and providing consultancy to the same group where he put in more than 10 years. As a consultant, he set up the procedures enumerated in this book for a freight forwarding company in Vietnam. He is also a Lead Auditor for ISO Certification associated with SQAC Certifications Private Limited, Goa.

A motivator and a mentor, he has been instrumental in building young leaders and team players over the years.
