Amanda Kline founded the viral account, @patriotickenny on TikTok/Instagram and has been featured with Kenny on The Today Show, The Kelly Clarkson Show, Newsweek, GoFundMe Heroes, and many others. She is a teacher of Deaf/Hard of Hearing students and is currently a PhD student at Gallaudet University. Kenny's Bright Red Scooter is her debut book.

With her unashamed love of social media, senior citizens, and veterans, Amanda enjoys hobbies of all sorts such as video editing, drinking coffee, and donating mobility scooters. When not hanging out with the Crew, she often relaxes at one of the 14,380 lakes at home in Minnesota.

Julie Bourne is a Deaf illustrator and owner of her design services firm, Flowbird Design Solutions. With a master's degree in project management from George Washington University, Bourne has worked in the finance and education fields for over twenty years and taught photography, graphic design, and computer science to Deaf students. She lives in Maryland with four most lovely and lively children (one of them ten pounds and furry) and wonderfully supportive husband.
