Synopsis

Yuji Kishimoto: Connector of Worlds tells the remarkable life story of Yuji Kishimoto, a Japanese American architect, painter, musician, and educator whose career has been defined by his ability to bridge cultures, disciplines, and ideas. From his childhood in wartime Japan where he first witnessed the consequences of international conflict, to building community through music in unfamiliar places in the United States, and later playing a key role in United States–Japan relations, Kishimoto’s journey is one of creative perseverance and cross-cultural collaboration.
