Synopsis

Emails to John is a collection of one mystic’s pondering on what it means to be saved. Am I saved? What a vile question. What a self-serving, mediocre, prideful question. What business of it of mine what God does with me on judgement day? Do we not trust Him, and His Love enough to have Hope? Could it be that we focus so much on salvation, and on morality, because we do not want to do God’s Will. As that is the price of Hope, the price none will speak of. For it is doing God’s will, in spite of the difficulties, in spite of the hardships, in spite it often does not make sense to us, that we learn that God’s Will and God’s Love is one in the same. By rejecting His Will, you reject His Love, and my refusing to share His Love we are refusing His will…Obviously, I yet to get around to answering the important questions, but being saved, if indeed you have the Spirit of Christ in you, then you hardly need me to tell you want it means. You already have the answer.
