Synopsis

In Presumed Guilty: Facing Life Plus Eighty Years, author Robert I. Anderson Jr. shares with readers his unforgettable tale of navigating our nation’s justice system. A man of faith, Anderson describes to readers what it was like to learn to lean on God during great hardships and unfortunate circumstances—because He will deliver.
This is a story of how a hard-working American citizen—with no criminal record—can be caught up in the maze and never-ending tunnels of the American law. Charged with multiple felony charges that carried with them a life plus an eighty-year sentence, Anderson was—and is—not the person the media and the prosecution portrayed him to be. Unbelievable in it’s impossibility, Presumed Guilty tells us just how a law-abiding citizen can suffer great consequences simply for being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Anderson had to fight to prove his innocence—and fight for his life. Through it all, however, God was there. Anderson’s faith in God brought deliverance and freedom—and it cleared his name.
