For years, he ran a popular geopolitics blog known as The Weichert Report: World News Done Right . Weichert is the author of three bestselling books. His writings have appeared in a variety of publications, such as The Washington Times, MSN, and the Asia Times. Weichert has been described as a "Panic and anxiety inducing scholar who tells us the things we don't want to hear, but need to know." He is a former congressional staffer who holds a B.A. from DePaul University and an M.A. in Statecraft and National Security Affairs from the Institute of World Politics in Washington, D.C.
