Synopsis

'Another Side of Justice' is a riveting courtroom drama exploring the legal and personal conflict between duty and ambition. Jessica Hyatt, a circuit court judge in Portland, walks on the other side of justice after committing a crime. Jessica's husband attempts suicide, and rather than seeking help, she leaves him to die. The protagonist Police Sergeant Frinky and Jessica attempt to out-wit the other as the case proceeds to court.

On reviewing the novel, a seasoned lawyer writes: "This is a thought-provoking drama exploring the legal and personal conflict between duty and personal ambition. The author's insight into both is obvious. I found the book compelling and difficult to put down. You'll be thinking about it long after you read the last page." Mary Lou Haas, J.D.
