À propos de l'auteur

I have a Bachelor Degree in Counseling and I am certified by the State of New York as a Credentialed Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor. I have been working in the field of chemical dependency for the past 44 years while studying how the drug addicted mind functions. I love getting inside of the drug addicted persons mind once sober, while in detoxification, inpatient drug rehabilitation or in an outpatient treatment facility. I also help the person dissect some of the massive confusion caused by the drugged brain. I have an extensive history of intravenous heroin addiction from age 16 to 28. During those 12 years and a half, I also abused intravenous cocaine, marijuana, and consumed large amounts of alcohol daily. I have learned over the years that it is not how you start off in life that matters; it is how you end it up. Once the highly developed brain of mankind is working without interruption by drugs, the drug addicted person can take themselves to their highest potential as a human being.
