À propos de l'auteur

SAM POLSON is the Lead Pastor of West Park Baptist Church in Knoxville, Tennessee, and featured teacher with the Sonlight Radio media ministry. He also serves on the boards of the Association of Baptists for World Evangelism and Shepherds Ministries, an educational ministry for adults with developmental disabilities. Sam was born and raised in New Castle, Indiana, where he met and married his wife, Susan. He earned his Master's degree in theology from Bob Jones University and then served seven years as an assistant pastor at Calvary Baptist Church in Findlay, Ohio. The Polsons then moved to Knoxville, where Sam has served as Senior Pastor for over 30 years. He advises the pastoral team and staff, teaches in large and small group settings, and is the most energized by witnessing people come alive to the reality of the gospel. His first book, In His Image, explores the purpose for which we were all created and is available online and in English, Romanian, and Mandarin. By Faith, Timeless Insights for Staying on Course from Hebrews 11, is available in English and Romanian. "For what we proclaim is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, with ourselves as your servants for Jesus' sake" (2 Corinthians 4:5).
