Andre and Angele co-founded Catholic Christian Outreach (CCO) in 1988 at their alma mater, the University of Saskatchewan. For thirty years, CCO has ministered to students on campuses across Canada. In 2015, Andre and Angele were awarded the Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice Medal for distinguished service to the Church, the highest medal that can be awarded to laymen by the pope. They have five children and two grandchildren and currently live in Ottawa.
The narrator of Brick by Brick is their oldest daughter Mylene, who is now the mother of two. Together, Angele, her five children, and three in-laws are the authors of this book.
