"In this book, you will encounter remarkable Pakistani asylum seekers, the D'Souzas and many others. You will be inspired by their immense courage in the face of seemingly insurmountable obstacles; you will sip the bitter cup of institutionalized evil; you will discern the human face of the suffering Church. And you will hearken to the Christian call echoing down the centuries to witness to our Savior with our very lives. In the extraordinary experiences of these exemplary Christian men and women, you will witness, as John Paul II put it, "a living portrayal of Christ's Passion.""--
