This book is a theological treatise on Saint Mary after the authors visit to various places in the holy land as well as a few very ancient churches in her name in India and after personally witnessing a specific standing miracle in her name. Historic facts about her birth and upbringing and God’s own choice for annunciation are presented by quoting biblical verses and quotations from holy Quran in unequivocal terms. The book also specifically cites nearly 200 quotations from various theological and historical books and presents 40 pictures to impress the readers. Her role as second Eve in God’s plan for redemption of humanity has been highlighted. Saint Marys presence at the foot of

the cross, important Christian dogmas like her dormition and assumption are precisely dealt with. The book was reviewed by very eminent scholars in Christian theology Dr. CA Ninan, Dr. D Babu Paul and Most Reverent Bishop Chrisostomos Mor Markose. The author of the book Mr. A J Kurian is a retired senior scientist of Indian Space research Organisation, Post graduate in Polymer Chemistry and he also holds a Diploma in Sacred Theology.

Shri A J Kurian started his career as a high school teacher in 1962. He then joined defense department and worked as a chemical supervisor in Indian Ordnance Factories for about seven years. Later He joined Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) in 1969.

He retired from ISRO as a Senior Scientist in 2002 after devoting more than 32 years of his life. Even after superannuation, he could continue his association with ISRO as course coordinator for I SRO’s training program for newly recruited scientists and engineers (IITP) for about two years. Subsequently he could also work as teacher in industrial safety for one year. From 2008 April to September 2013 he worked as visiting scientist at ISRO’s Bio Hydrocarbon Project in Pune University. He has presented more than 40 scientific research papers/ delivered invited talks in national and international seminars covering various topics. He could also present 5 scientific papers in Hindi in National seminars.

He was a Sunday school teacher for more than two decades was also Sunday School Headmaster for four years. He is presently engaged in theological studies. He holds Diploma in Sacred Theology. The present article is his second paper about Saint Mary published in English.

He has travelled widely in India. He has visited Jordan, Israel and Egypt as part of holy land tour, visited United Kingdom once and USA on three occasions.
