Synopsis

'Sahasra Janhara Rati', author's twelfth poetry collection, is interwoven with forty-six Odia poems of varied tastes and thoughts. They depict intricately human dreams and despair, aspiration and agony, passion and emotion, rejoice and sorrow, love and betrayal, delusion and illusion, splendour of nature, philosophy of life, death and time, apprehension for the uncertain future of man and environment and even poetic illustrations of some scientific phenomena that rarely find its place in poetry. Hope these poems may touch the hearts of poetry-lovers.
