Synopsis

Sam Buck is a private Investigator of Native-American heritage based in Atlanta, Ga. A beautiful light bronze lady walked into his office ......asking to hire Mr. Buck to head off some crooked wrongdoing in her company.

She is under the impression that there is a conspiracy spearhead by her husband, who is trying to take over the company that her father left her. Sam is initially taken in by her beauty until Rose, his secretary/assistant walks in. Rose had previously walked out on Sam because he had squandered all his money on alcohol and couldn't pay her back salary.

Sam drinks alcohol constantly. Rose was checking out the lady from head to toe. All of a sudden, Rose began to take over the conversation. Sam experience leads him to believe there is something more to this caper than a jealous husband. Sam takes the case because it involves government contracts and foreigners.

Bill Moore was born in Washington, North Carolina on the Pamlico Sound. After a military stint, he resided in Brooklyn, and also St Albans, N.Y. for many years. He moved to Virginia, where he attended college, graduating with honors. Next came a brief period of teaching academics in the penal system before retiring. Boredom brought on the idea of writing, particularly private detective genre. So here we are.
