Maria Gabriela Gama is an illustrator raised in São Vicente, Brazil, a modest but beautiful city surrounded by the ocean. A place that inspired her to create colorful worlds. With a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, she started her professional career working in advertising, but soon discovered the magical world of illustration - and fell in love with it! Since then, Maria's been living her dream job illustrating picture books, puzzles, cards and toys. She works digitally and one of her favorite things is being able to work while enjoying a cozy beverage at a local café. A few of her clients include Scholastic, Penguin Workshop, Templar Books, and many more. Maria is very passionate about her work and and wishes to bring joy, representation and positive change through her cheerful characters and vibrant colors.
