Vicky is a follower of Christ, a wife, a mother, and a friend. She loves children and taught kindergarteners at church for twenty-three years. She also loves writing devotions, poems, and children's books to share what God has taught her. Her hope is to share His message of love, grace, mercy, and relentlessness so they can work all together, even in the messiness of our lives, for the ultimate good of those who embrace Jesus as our Creator, Sustainer, sovereign Savior, and Lord. She wants readers to know that the Lord alone has the power to change hearts and lives, growing in them a desperate dependence and devotion.

Paperback. Etat : Good. Ben runs to his grandma, Mimi, for comfort and advice after being bullied. Mimi tells him he needs to forgive the other boy. But Ben is afraid to. He wonders if forgiving the boy means they are friends. Forgiving sounds too hard, and he admits to Mimi he just isn't ready. Mimi says unforgiveness is like a weed, and as long as Ben refuses to forgive, that weed will continue to grow and grow! But how can Ben pluck that weed out when he's still so hurt and angry? Told in rhyme, the story shares the importance of forgiveness in easy-to-understand language. Children are also treated to seeing a strong, supportive family that relies on a God-centered approach to helping one another with their problems. Mimi's wise advice and seeing what happens give a wonderful reminder to us all that forgiveness leads to having compassion and grace for others (and ourselves). N° de réf. du vendeur 00097580960
