Understanding Adolescence For Girls is a frank discussion about puberty and growing up with a focus on creating a positive relationship with your body.
Knowledge of our own bodies is a superpower because it helps us understand what's going on inside of us. This is especially true during adolescence--a time of big changes! This book helps readers understand what puberty and adolescence is all about, but more importantly, an illustrated guide to help you get to know your body . . . and yourself, and put you on the path to feeling good in your own skin.
With an authoritative yet welcoming voice, the author guides girls through the changes going on in their bodies with a focus on body positivity. Readers will come away from the book knowing that no matter what their body is doing, it’s okay and perfect for them!
