Rhoda Benjamin, better known to many as June Barry, was born in England and grew up in the beautiful Spice Island of Grenada, West Indies, for which she is forever grateful. She is the fourth of six daughters (The Barry Sisters), to Agnes and DeCosta Barry. The Barry Sisters are well known for their beautiful, harmonious singing. She lived in England for several years, and currently resides in Huntsville, Alabama, USA. For decades, her extensive professional background in Behavioral Health and Nursing Education, has been coupled with a passion for poetry. That passionate expression in which she delivers her poetry, has been recognized as a gift from God and out of character for her usual quiet persona. Rhoda's strong desire is to transform lives with her poetic prose, arouse awareness, and bring HOPE and inspiration to others, in this troubled world. She anticipates that Her first CD and Book Kingdom Verses will achieve just that and actualize her vision. She is happily married to Finbar Benjamin, and they are the proud parents of a beautiful and gifted musician, Esther Benjamin.
