Jason Hendrickson is an author and illustrator who currently lives and works in Northwest Indiana with a patient wife, two grown children, a cat, and three border collies, which is likely more than legally allowed. He has been drawing for as long as he could hold a crayon, much to the chagrin of his mother and the walls of her house. While being an illustrator on a variety of other picture books through the years, this is his first foray into authorship, and, frankly, he’s as surprised as you are.
DUCK!
No, really. It’s a duck!
In fact, it’s a Mallard.
Mallard, meet Willard.
Willard, meet Mallard.
Willard is trying to get to the end of the book.
Me, I’m the Narrator, and that other person staring at you is the Reader.
Say “Hi,” Reader.
