Synopsis
Racialized, gendered, and sexualized bodies profoundly shape how we perceive human interactions and systems of learning. Essays in this volume engage with approaches that critically centre the haptic body in articulating epistemologies of trauma that can impact our spiritual, physical, emotional, intellectual, and political lives while also generating transformational, emancipatory possibilities. Authors explore the sensory knowledge that is frequently left unacknowledged in ethnographic work.
