Synopsis

This book is an attempt to share the learnings from the life of an epic character from the Ramayana. Bharat Ji is not only a prime devotee of Lord Rama but also the most adorable and pious character of the Ramayana. The whole world chants Rama but Rama chants Bharat continuously and persistently. In the Ramayana, Rama always compares the devotion of other people to Bharat Ji like he says to Hanuman, "Tum Mam Priya Bharat hi Sam Bhai", meaning you are as dear to me as Bharat.

So, why is Bharat Ji so special? Why does Rama like him the most?

This book is an attempt to understand that divine virtue of Bharat Ji. Ayodhya-kand of Ramcharitmanas is all about Bharat Ji. I have tried to get excerpts from this to make it concise without changing the original spirit and flow of the story. Hopefully, this book will help you uncover the virtues of Bharat Ji which help you to be as sacred as Him. One can truly embrace life lessons from this epic in our everyday life and still make the most of it.

I have experienced it myself that a continuous chanting of Bharat Charit helps you to get closer to Lord Rama, removes all hurdles from your life and most importantly increase bonding among family members.
