Susan Garrison is an Italian American author of children's picture books, focusing on multiracial children. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and a passion for promoting positive mental health. As a mother and grandmother to multiracial children and grandchildren and an advocate for social justice and equality, she began writing books to increase the representation of multiracial children and to highlight their internal and external beauty and promote self-love.

Chelsea Forbes is a twenty-eight year old wife and mother who lives in the mountains of western North Carolina. She enjoys drawing, cooking and streaming video games in her downtime. Although Chelsea has been an artist for years, this is her first time doing illustrations for a children's book. She hopes that her illustrations help build confidence in children and makes them happy.
