Synopsis

This book is my fourth writing in connecting and researching into our Scottish ancestry. Wulfrunian Footprints in Fife was published in 2014 and since then much has been found therefore other books needed to be written. You may wonder what 'Wulfrunian' means? This relates to a person of Wolverhampton, named after Lady Wulfrun, or Wulfruna. This is my hometown but because of my father I have great interest in my roots in Scotland. In recent years I have been drawn to find out as much as I can and to be there as often as possible. It is pleasing to know that family; especially grandchildren, have made that connection with me. My trail to Scotland became ours and I am proud that they have shared this journey with me; they jump at the chance to come along! My writing is descriptive, a poem in my style needs a reason for writing and in many circumstances a photograph. To grow into a story, then a book and another three needs plenty of thought in which I surely have.
