This journal is recommended for girls ages 5 to 8.
We all have times when we feel happy, sad, angry or other ways, and children are no exception. It is never healthy for anyone to keep their feelings inside, as these tend to build up until they cause additional difficulties. The best thing to do is to get those feelings out in some way and writing in a journal is a wonderful way to do so. This journal is written in a very child-friendly manner with prompts to help girls feel better by exploring their feelings, writing about them, and drawing pictures as they go. This is an activity you can do with your younger girls or allow older girls to work on it independently and discuss it with them later. Having a discussion about what your child has disclosed in each feelings activity can open the line of communication between you and your child, as well as to help you better understand what they are going through on a regular basis.
