Synopsis
The election of 2020 ushered uncertainty as America worked through a pandemic made worse by government policies, crime wave and riots hit many urban centers, and controversial election with new rules instituted for voting on the fly due to the Pandemic that left many wondering who truly won. This book examines the trends of the past eighteen months to examine government policies led to unnecessary policies that hurt economic opportunities and increase sufferings, took away freedom to fight a virus and will end up killing more lives than saving from the virus. The Democratic Party is the socialist Party of America, our leadership class has failed America but the real question over the next three years is whether the Republicans can combine the populism of Trump with the conservatism of Reagan. This synergy is both possible and needed to create a new coalition that includes increasing minority voters in urban centers, rural areas, small businesses, and recapture suburban voters lost in 2020. America is at the Abyss, and will we survive? Tom Donelson has authored eight books including The Rise of National Populism and Democratic Socialism, What Our Response Should be, The Empire of Liberty, and Economics 101 and other Thoughts. He has over four decades of political experience and is presently Chairman of Americas PAC, and Research Associate and Project Director for Americas Majority Foundation.
