Le mandat de Stevie en tant que président du corps étudiant de l'Université Belmont se déroule bien au début de 2020 et il attendait avec impatience le prochain semestre de cette « Université chrétienne conservatrice ». Il ne savait pas qu'en ces temps troublés, un étudiant, qui ose déclarer son amour pour l'Amérique le 4 juillet, risquait sa vie et son avenir. Après que Stevie ait déclaré son amour pour l'Amérique, les étudiants se sont battus pour s'assurer que Stevie n'avait pas d'avenir. Ses pairs se sont transformés en activistes de justice sociale brandissant toute autorité qu'ils avaient contre lui, désespérément de prouver leur allégeance à l'organisation Black Lives Matter. Ils semblaient déterminés à détruire quiconque n'était pas d'accord avec eux, quel que soit le coût.
