Synopsis

The hardest person to be honest with . . . yourself.
The hardest way to release your feelings . . . to speak.

These poems draw on personal experiences and life outlooks that I was always afraid to say out loud.

I wrote them down and am now sharing them with you.
This is me . . .
This is raw . . .
This is the day I learned to speak.

A debut poetry collection from a very personal perspective.

À propos de l'auteur

Nicole Leva has many loves: baking, reading, animals, family, nature, friends . . . the list goes on. However, she never learned self-love until she matured and experienced heartbreak more then she would like to admit. As a farm manager, she realized she prefers the company of horses who are more honest than humans. As a mother, she realized the sacrifices her own mother made for her while growing up. Finally, as a lover, she realized when you find the right person together you can create beautiful things. The most important realization, it's okay to be your raw, unfiltered self. Don't limit your dreams. Never question your self-worth.
