Nital Subhas was born in India and immigrated to the US when she was 5 years old. As a novice writer, she hopes to continue sharing her childhood experiences and exposing various cultural traditions through story writing. Nital lives in Cleveland, Ohio and her favorite color is green.
Nivi Engineer celebrated Holi in India for the first time when she was almost two. Disappointed that everyone was "keeping her safe" and making her miss out on the fun, she put color all over herself. Or so she's been told. Her favorite color is plum. The author of the play, "the Saviors of Scarborough" and other works. Nivi earned her MFA in Fiction from Spalding University.
Saija Shah is a student in the Cleveland area. She's always had a passion for visual arts, and, like Juhi, has fond memories of paratha and kachoris around the kitchen table as a kid. The effort to bring more diverse stories to children's literature excites her.
