Synopsis

In this first book, Bitopia, a dystopian world is introduced, and we meet the main character, Haley. The Dames are all females, paired with other females; the Sirs are all males, paired with other males. This society also contains the Makers and the Onlookers. The Makers are the small fraction of Bitopia who are heterosexual and produce the babies for the rest of the society. The Onlookers are those who were kicked to the outside for not obeying the rules. They are hunted yearly to keep the population in check. This story details Haley’s life and blossoming romance with another Dame, Abigail. We also learn about Logan, a heterosexual Sir, as he journeys into the world of the Makers. Bitopia entrances readers as they
enter another world. Follow the characters as they navigate their path and go against the grain of the civilization unto which they were born.

Dr. Jodelle Yount resides in Kentucky with her wife and their many animals. She received a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Ohio University and completed her residency in Emergency Medicine at Southern Ohio Medical Center. She is board-certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine. In addition, she holds master's degrees including an MBA, MPH, and an MS with a concentration in Clinical Toxicology. Jodelle keeps extremely busy with her entrepreneur pursuits. She is the owner of LEO Health and Wellness, which offers a variety of services focused on improving total wellness; has a telehealth business called You Can Call Yount; creates various designs for sale with her business, Yount Box; and also hosts the podcast, Feed Your L.I.O.N., which can be found on Apple, Google, and Spotify. She is also a public speaker who continues to work on developing online courses to help people improve their spiritual, mental, emotional, physical, and financial health. In her spare time, Jodelle enjoys reading, traveling, writing, and spending time with her family and friends.
