À propos de l'auteur

Phil Tintle, Sr. grew up in New Jersey, where his love of sports and history began at an early age. A three-sport high school athlete, he started on championship football and basketball teams before pursuing a career in education and coaching.

As a high school history teacher, Phil coached athletes in football, basketball, baseball, and track and field. He coached his three sons who were also three-sport athletes. His accomplishments include leading his high school basketball team to a county championship and earning Coach of the Year honors. He also directed his own basketball camp and worked with other programs including camps at West Point, New York.

Phil is a lead writer for the Red Bandana Project, an educational initiative created after the tragic events of 9/11 that develops curriculum for schools, communities, and sports programs. He wrote the middle school and high school sports lessons. He continues to enjoy sports, history, and time with his family.
