Gary Alan Wassner is the CEO of Hilldun Corporation, one of the fashion industry's leading factoring and financing companies, known for supporting many of the world's most influential designer brands. Throughout his distinguished career, he has worked with iconic fashion labels including Jason Wu, Amiri, Isabel Marant, Golden Goose, Jonathan Simkhai, Fear of God, Rick Owens, and many others.
Named one of Fashionista's "50 Most Influential People in Fashion," Wassner serves on multiple advisory boards and councils supporting the fashion industry, education, and social justice initiatives. He has appeared as a principal investor on Lifetime's Project Runway Fashion Startup and has contributed articles upon request to both Women's Wear Daily and the CFDA. He is often quoted by The Wall Street Journal, Business of Fashion, Associated Press, Reuters, NY Times, NY Post and other publications. He speaks frequently to students of all levels, at FIT, Parsons School of Design, LIM University, RAISEfashion and The Fordham Fashion Law Institute. .
In addition to his work in fashion and finance, Wassner is an accomplished fiction and children's book author. He is also the author of several children's mystery books published through Mondo Publishing and Carnegie Learning.
