À propos des auteurs

Catherine E. Williams is associate professor of preaching and worship at Lancaster Theological Seminary in Pennsylvnia. She earned a Bachelor of Music in Church Music, summa cum laude, from Westminster Choir College of Rider University, a Master of Divinity from Palmer Theological Seminary of Eastern University, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Homiletics from Princeton Theological Seminary. Williams is an active member of the Academy of Homiletics and the Hymn Society of the US and Canada.




Luke A. Powery is the dean of Duke University Chapel and associate professor of homiletics at Duke Divinity School in Durham, North Carolina. He is an ordained Baptist minister (Progressive National Baptist) and the author and editor of several books, including co-author of Ways of the Word: Learning to Preach for Your Time and Place and a general editor of the nine-volume lectionary commentary series for preaching and worship, Connections: A Lectionary Commentary for Preaching and Worship.
