Synopsis

Two young South African scientists, a medical specialist and a nuclear physicist, are stranded in Germany at the start of the Second World War and they have to choose between a concentration camp or cooperation with the Nazis. Both survive the war, although their German wives die during an American bombing raid on Berlin. They cannot dare to return to South Africa after the war and they stay involved with Nazi activities in Argentina—until one of them manages to destroy the Nazi dream of an atom bomb.

À propos de l'auteur

Adelbert Scholtz is a retired South African minister of religion and a practicing psychologist with doctorates in the history of Christianity and psychology. He is the author of various books on (church) history, practical theology, and psychology and lectured part-time at two universities. Between 1978 and 1992 he was a part-time chaplain in the South African Army. He did duty on five occasions during the Border War in Namibia and in 1983 he took part in an operation in Angola.
