He holds a PhD in Applied Linguistics from the University of Moulay Ismail of Meknes, Morocco. He has published books on legal and environmental discourse and authored articles on social and environmental issues. He is a member of the International Ecolinguistics Association (IEA) and serves on the boards of several journals.

Diego Luis Forte is an Academic Consultant for the Ministry of Agriculture of Argentina and a Professor of Multimodality at the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina.
