Angela Garbiso has always had a passion for children's literature and anyone who knows her isn't surprised that she is the co-author of the Gilby the Gecko fire and life safety children's book series.

Residing in Southern California, she loves her dog and her two adult children, especially when they call or text her regularly. Her education in political science, public administration, elementary education, and instructional design has led to a colorful professional career. She likes to think that her education and experience paved the way for her writing career, and her children advise everyone to nod and agree.

Perry Art Reed is the co-author and illustrator of the Gilby the Gecko series.
