The People of IU: A collection of inspiring Hoosier stories is the culmination of four years of sharing the narratives of 130 such individuals that have positively impacted the University. What makes this project even more unique, is that this entire concept was created by a student and these stories were compiled solely by a student team. The People of IU book honors some of the amazing human beings and aims to inspire the next generation of Hoosiers to continue our powerful journey as one IU family, onwards!

Sankalp Mohan Sharma
Sankalp Mohan Sharma is a two-time entrepreneur and an undergraduate international student at Indiana University. During his four-year student career, he is credited with creating a positive impact on the student body through his numerous involvements as a resident assistant, international student ambassador, and as leader in various organizations across IU. A globally recognized leader, he has had experiences in working with the likes of President Barack Obama, Vice President Al Gore and with organizations like the United Nations, and governments across the world.

People of IU Team
Sankalp's team that put this book together with him consists of five outstanding and talented undergraduate students. Jordan Venckus, Iswerya Ajay, Cameron Segura, Raghav Mehta, and Will Davis are exceptional student leaders who are equipped with brilliant experiences and strong skillsets. Each of these student leaders have spent their four years at Indiana University to go beyond the role of a student and focused on building the IU community to give back to this great institution. This team covers close to ten majors and hail from three different schools at Indiana University.
