He's Deputy General Secretary of the Arab Federation for the Protection of Wild and Marine Life. He is a member of the Scientific Committee for Greenhouses Plantation {A. R. C} (2014-202), and a member of the Scientific Team for the National Campaign for Navel Orange improvement {H.R.I} (2015-2018). Abobatta is a Scientific Committee Member of international and national conferences. Abobatta is a supervisor of M. Sc. and Ph. D. Thesis in various branches of agricultural science. He published more than 64 scientific papers.
