Four former British Prime Ministers — Churchill, Macmillan, Heath and Thatcher — are in "an EU-flavoured heaven" run by Roman and Ancient Greek gods. Observing the political mess in the UK, they decide to visit Earth to speak to MPs while these are asleep and dreaming in order to push them towards a consensus on Brexit. But hearing the incoherent ramblings of Priti Patel, Jo Swinson, Boris Johnson, Jeremy Corbyn and Nigel Farage, they realise that Brexit is just a symptom of the real problems in Britain.
"Divine Brexit" is the second political satire by David Hutter. His first, "FAKE NEWS: Strange historical facts reimagined in the world of Donald Trump", was named as one of THE 10 BEST BOOKS ON THE DONALD TRUMP PRESIDENCY by British newspaper The Independent.
Guillaume Jest is the author of the play "Darwin, fallait-il le tuer?" published by Les Éditions du Panthéon in France.
